Creating this design is quite the story. The rose originated from a design from Valentine's Day 2021. I had one leftover that never sold so last year, I added a monarch to it and rearranged the leaves. I love it and it lives with me. So for this collection, I improved the rose design and chose out vibrant, ethereal feeling colors for an otherworldly vibe.

This piece is composed of an iridescent red/orange rose, two tones of emerald green leaves (one of the glass selections has wonderful texture on the front), and a mottled, vibrant orange and iridescent black butterfly. The butterfly is finished with tinned copper wire antennae and black and white painted patterning. Hangs from a single point. Wonderful displayed in a window where it can cast incredible shadows. The rose flashes different colors in different lights.
Item measures 12" tall x 8" wide. Dimensions do not include the length of the chain.
Made with colored sheet glass, copper foil, leaded solder, tinned copper wire, glass paints, and silver jack chain.
