Product Details

The original design for this hand comes from a public domain pattern that was published years ago in a glass magazine. I have made the hand several times and was excited to adapt the pattern for this Collection. This piece and the similar monarch piece really portray the feeling of life and death that I was looking to capture.

The piece is composed of various white glass including some iridescent, some textured. The hummingbird is composed of a transparent olive green glass with a textured light amber belly, and red throat. Finished in black patina for maximum impact. Mostly transparent so it's great displayed in a window.
Item measures 8" tall x 10.5" wide. Dimensions do not include the length of the chain.
Made with colored sheet glass, copper foil, leaded solder, black patina, and gunmetal chain.
