Growth out of death.

The piece is composed of various whites - some textured, some smooth, mostly swirled - for the skull with grey shadows and dark grey eye and nose sockets. The mouth is adorned with tinned copper wire. The wings are composed of a wonderful, iridescent red/orange glass and finished with decorative soldering. A mix of transparents and opaques. A really special but straightforward piece. Great displayed in a window or on a wall. The wings will flash different colors in different light.
Item measures 8.5" tall x 9" wide. Dimensions do not include the length of the chain.
Made with colored sheet glass, copper foil, leaded solder, tinned copper wire, and silver jack chain.
